Police asking public for information on possible kidnapping in Aurora

DENVER (KDVR) — The Aurora Police Department is asking the public for information on a possible kidnapping that happened Thursday evening.

Around 6:15 p.m., police responded to a call reporting a “suspicious incident” that happened in a parking lot in the northwest corner of the Tower Road and East 28th Avenue intersection.

According to police, the 911 caller said they saw a woman being pulled out of the back seat of a car by two drivers, then “thrown to the ground” before being forced back into the back seat.

The car the woman was pulled out of is described as a black Volkswagen Tiguan, the driver of which is described as a Black, 6-foot-tall man with a slim build.

The other driver who allegedly helped pull the victim out of the Volkswagen is described as a heavy-set Black woman. She was driving a white Ford SUV.

No clothing descriptions were available for either of the drivers.

The victim is described as a Black woman, about 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighing 150 pounds. Police said she was wearing a white t-shirt and glasses.
