Police arrest felon who led Middle TN law enforcement on chase in stolen vehicle

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — A convicted felon wanted on multiples charges is back behind bars after he allegedly led three law enforcement agencies on a chase in a stolen vehicle.

The incident took place Friday, April 19 after detectives with the Metro Nashville Police Department (MNPD) said they attempted to initiate a traffic stop on 42-year-old Adolfo Leon Isaza, who is a known offender.

Authorities reported Isaza was traveling in a stolen green Toyota Tacoma and fled the stop on Nolensville Pike.

With the help of MNPD’s Aviation Unit, law enforcement tracked Isaza through Rutherford County, back into the Hermitage precinct, and then to Mt. Juliet.

According to MNPD, Isaza was apprehended in Mt. Juliet after attempting to flee on foot.

He was wanted for several domestic violence-related charges, including aggravated stalking, three aggravated assaults and four order of protection violations, officials said.

After Friday night’s arrest, authorities said Isaza was additionally charged with motor vehicle theft and felony evading arrest.

The MNPD, Rutherford County Sheriff’s Office and Mt. Juliet Police Department all assisted in the arrest.

According to MNPD, Isaza faces 16 charges and remains jailed on a $129,500 bond.
