Police: 4 men, 1 juvenile arrested in connection with vehicle tampering in Williamsburg

WILLIAMSBURG, Va. (WAVY) — Williamsburg police have arrested four men in connection to vehicle tampering spree.

Police said they responded to 13 different reports of vehicle tampering in the city between March 22 and April 25.

According to the Williamsburg Police Department nearly a dozen search warrants were executed during an almost two-month investigation.

The investigation resulted in the arrest of the following individuals:

Nisaiah Kion Perry, 19, of Williamsburg has been charged with credit card theft, conspiracy to commit credit card fraud, computer fraud, ID theft, tampering with a vehicle, petit larceny, possession of burglarious tools, wearing a mask while committing a crime, conspiracy to commit a felony, and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

Isiah Lamont Brown, 20 of James City County has been charged with credit card theft, conspiracy to commit credit card fraud, tampering with a vehicle, petit larceny, possession of burglarious tools, wearing a mask while committing a crime, conspiracy to commit a felony, and contributing
to the delinquency of a minor.

Savon Qvonte Bailey, 20 of Newport News: Credit card theft, conspiracy to commit credit card fraud, tampering with a vehicle, petit larceny, possession of burglarious tools, wearing a mask while committing a crime, conspiracy to commit a felony, contributing to the delinquency of a minor, shoplifting, and removing the serial number from a firearm.

Quashawn Decarea Cunningham, 22 of Newport News has been charged with removing the serial number from a firearm, false statement in the investigation of another’s crime, obstructing justice, disorderly conduct, and failure to obey an order from law enforcement officer.

A 17-year-old was also charged with credit card theft, conspiracy to commit credit card fraud, tampering with a vehicle, petit larceny, possession of burglarious tools, wearing a mask while committing a crime and conspiracy to commit a felony.

Anyone who had items taken from their vehicle as a result of these incidents should contact the Williamsburg Police Department to claim their property.
