Staying comfortable as rain chances resume Tuesday

TONIGHT: Increasing Clouds, Cool. Lo 53. Winds VRB 5-10 mph.

TUESDAY: Scattered Showers, Mild Hi 72. Lo 58.

WEDNESDAY: Scattered Showers, Mild. Hi 69. Lo 58.

Hope you went out and enjoyed today at least for a little bit! There’s still some time, as temperatures sit in the mid to low 70s as of writing. Lows drop into the low 50s overnight as clouds increase across the region. The cloud cover increase is a noticeable signal to the beginning of an unsettled pattern over the next couple of days.

Light shower activity will begin around sunrise Tuesday, before expanding to more widespread shower activity throughout the rest of the day. An area of low pressure will sweep across the region and then stall off the coast bringing more clouds and showers for Wednesday. Highs will be in the 70s initially, before dipping briefly into the upper 60s on Wednesday. Thursday and Friday brings a respite from the showery weather. The models continue to provide new insights and to this point it looks like Saturday and Sunday will both feature shower chances. We will continue to monitor and fine-tune the rain timing each day this week. Stay tuned!
