Plastics recycling lecture will take the stage in Lewisburg

Apr. 23—LEWISBURG — A lecture on The Fallacy of Plastics Recycling: Lessons from East Palestine, Ohio will be held Wednesday night at the Campus Theatre in Lewisburg.

Hosted by Bucknell University, the lecture will begin at 7 p.m. and is free to the public.

Jess Conrad, from Beyond Plastics, will cover the environmental and health risks of toxic chemicals as well as a first-hand experience of a community affected by a toxic chemical disaster, according to a press release.

The lecture will be followed by a question and answer session with invited panelists.
