Pitt State honors graduates in Spring Commencement
PITTSBURG, Kan. — Over 1,100 Pitt State students are now degree holders.
The university has been holding its spring commencement ceremonies over the last few days – inside John Lance Arena.
This is a video from today’s graduation for students in the College of Education.
Graduates were able to pick two loved ones to walk with them to the graduation stage – before receiving the prized diploma.
“They are very excited, and very happy to be completing their goals and moving on to the next chapter. It’s nice for them to have their families and friends here. After the ceremony, they have time to gather in the arena and take some photos,” said Melinda Roelfs, PSU Registrar.
The university held a total of eight ceremonies over the last two days – three of which were held last night.
