Pinpoint Weather: Warmer, windy start to the weekend

ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) – Winds will decrease across the region overnight but increase again during the day on Saturday. Winds should be a bit weaker than Friday, but still breezy.

Temperatures will get warmer as a warm front lifts north of the region. Temperatures on Saturday will rise into the 60s and 70s.

Rain on Saturday should remain confined to areas north of Interstate 64. The rain line drops south on Sunday to US 460.

Rain is the forecast area-wide on Monday and Tuesday as temperatures remain warm. A strong cold front moves through Tuesday night into Wednesday, bringing the rain to an end and dropping temperatures.
