Pinpoint Weather: Showers possible Saturday, dry Sunday

ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) – Showers are possible again on Saturday as a second cold front moves into the region. Showers should be light with the best chance north of US-460. The day will start dry with showers possible for the afternoon.

For many, rainfall will be less than a tenth of an inch with slightly higher amounts expected for the westernmost mountains.

Temperatures will remain slightly below average on Saturday with highs in the 60s and 70s after starting in the 40s.

Dry conditions will return for Sunday and Monday with showers and storms possible again starting on Tuesday. Temperatures will remain in the 70s for highs through Wednesday with temperatures near 80 on Thursday.
