Pinpoint Weather: Rain chances increase overnight

ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) – Rain chances will increase overnight as a cold front moves into the region. Rain will begin after 1 a.m. and should remain light.

Rainfall accumulations should remain less than a quarter of an inch. Some areas will see no rain tonight.

Sunshine is expected to increase during the afternoon on Wednesday with temperatures returning to the 60s and 70s by afternoon after starting in the 40s and 50s.

Temperatures will cool down slightly on Thursday and Friday. Another warming trend begins on Saturday as highs return to the 70s with 80s back in the forecast starting on Sunday. Hit or miss showers and storms are possible Saturday through Monday with rain a bit more widespread on Tuesday.
