Pinpoint Weather: Dry and cool with frost possible

Tonight will be partly cloudy to clear with temperatures dipping into the 30s. There is a chance of frost west of the Blue Ridge. The NWS has issued Frost Advisories for West Virginia, Southwest Virginia, and Rockbridge County, including Lexington and Buena Vista. Frost formation is most likely from 2 am to 8 am Monday. The maps show the Frost Advisories and adjacent counties, not included in the advisory, where frost is possible.

Morning lows in the 30s will be followed by sunshine and afternoon highs mostly in the 60s.

Temperatures this week will be close to normal until next weekend.

The long-range outlook indicates warm weather with highs over 10-15 degrees above normal.

There is not much rain in the forecast other than a chance of showers Tuesday night into Wednesday early morning and scattered to isolated showers next weekend.
