Dodge will build just 3,000 examples for American consumption.

    Turbocharging allows Honda to use a smaller-displacement, 1.5-liter 4-cylinder engine in the new Civic Si, and while it makes the same 205 horsepower as the previous model it generates more torque lower in the rev range in order to ensure sprightly performance. The usual Si upgrades are evident inside and out, and the car comes only in coupe and sedan body styles.

    For 2018, the Honda Clarity lineup expands to include new plug-in hybrid and electric versions of the car. They join the existing Clarity fuel-cell version, providing consumers with three green choices in the midsize car segment. The Clarity Electric offers about 80 miles of range before it requires a recharge.

The company will build the Ascent in Indiana, and it goes on sale in 2018.
