Person pulled from car after crash in Montgomery County

MONTGOMERY COUNTY (DC News Now) — Emergency crews rescued a person who was trapped in a car after a collision at an intersection in Montgomery Village Friday morning.

Pete Piringer, Public Infrormation Officer for Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service (MCFRS), first posted about the incident at Emory Grove and Goshen roads on the X platform at 9:55 a.m.

In subsequent posts, Piringer shared that crews were able to removed the person who was trapped inside one of the cars involved in the collision. Piringer noted that medics took a total of two patients to the hospital.

Pirnger added that some lanes were blocked as a result of the crash.
