People are hilariously upset about the Goldfish recall
We are living in trying times. Not even our favorite childhood snacks are safe.
Pepperidge Farm announced a voluntary recall on Monday for four different flavors of Goldfish Crackers due to a fear of salmonella. According to a CBS report, an ingredient supplier for Pepperidge notified the company that the whey powder used in the cracker's seasoning could have been contaminated with the bacteria.

The affected flavors of Goldfish Crackers, aka all of the really good ones, have hurt the souls and stomachs of consumers across the country. With Goldfish Gate underway, many people have expressed strong feelings about their favorite snack being recalled.

Some users who enjoy feasting on the cheddar fish feel personally attacked and are devastated by the warning.
I just want one more person to tell me that 4 bags of goldfish have been recalled.

Xtra cheddar goldfish were recalled because the cheese powder could possibly give you salmonella. My life is ruined.

if anyone knows me they know that often times in undergrad I would go for days eating only Flavor Blasted goldfish for breakfast, lunch, and dinner so yeah I’m feeling personally victimized. pic.twitter.com/ToAFS4TvXl

Some people just don't seem to care and will continue consuming the crackers, salmonella and all.
Goldfish are being recalled and I have a package at my desk and I literally just considered eating them and getting salmonella just to get out of here rather than checking the info, so that's how my day's going, how about you

Y’all remember when Obama took a tiny sip of Flint water and said it was safe, but it wasn’t and he lied about it on TV?
Pepperidge Farm does. 👴🏼— Mathis Wellz (@MathisWellz) July 24, 2018
