The arrest report said deputies were called to a home in the area on Monday, May 13, for a disturbance complaint. Deputies noted in the report that when they arrived they saw a woman “screaming and running” from a man who was chasing her.

The woman told deputies that she was moving to Pensacola and that Freeman had invited her to stay at his home, according to the report. Freeman allegedly overheard a conversation between the woman and her fiance, which caused him to become angry.

Freeman began pushing her around the trailer and would not allow her to leave, according to the report. The incident allegedly went on for two hours until she was able to enter a bathroom with another person and called deputies.

Freeman was given a $60,000 bond and was released from the Escambia County Jail.
