Pensacola man arrested on drug trafficking, firearm possession charges: ECSO

ESCAMBIA COUNTY, Fla. (WKRG) — The Escambia County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit and SWAT Team have arrested a man on drug trafficking and firearm possession charges, according to a Facebook post.

ECSO Narcotics Unit and SWAT Team served a search warrant Wednesday at the 700 block of North 65th Ave.

ARREST LOCATION:

The sheriff’s office seized two firearms, 2.6 kilograms of methamphetamine, 12.5 grams of fentanyl, 96 pills or 27 grams of Xanax, and $8,241 when serving the search warrant.

Dillon Devontrez Royster, 29, was arrested and is charged with trafficking fentanyl, trafficking methamphetamine, possession with intent to distribute, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, possession of a short-barreled rifle, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

According to the Escambia County jail log, Royster is being held without bond and will appear in court on May 10.
