The arrest report said deputies received a call Tuesday in reference to “an unknown problem.” Before a deputy arrived on the scene — which was redacted in the arrest report — they allegedly received more calls about a male in a vehicle hurting a female.

Once a deputy was on the scene, they spoke with the victim, who alleged that 28-year-old Jacobi Lanier Williams had hit her multiple times.

The arrest report said after Williams hit her the first time, the victim stopped the car she was driving in the middle of the road and jumped out of it.

The report said Williams then told her he wasn’t going to hit her anymore if she would get back in the car. The victim then returned to the car and drove to a nearby gas station so Williams could get a lighter, according to the report.

Once they left the gas station, they approached some train tracks, where Williams allegedly got upset again and hit the woman a few more times in the face. During this incident, the woman again tried to stop the car; however, Williams grabbed her arm and would not let her, according to the report.

She finally was able to turn into a parking lot, which is when Williams allegedly grabbed her hand, “holding her against her own will” and preventing her from getting out of the vehicle, according to the arrest report.

The report said she was finally able to slip out of Williams’s grip after biting him and fighting to get loose from her grip.
