Pedestrian injured in single-vehicle crash in Las Vegas valley

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) – A pedestrian was injured in a single-vehicle crash near Lake Mead Boulevard and MLK, according to police.

It happened shortly after 9:30 p.m. on Friday and shut down traffic in the area.

The pedestrian was transported to a local hospital. He suffered critical non-life threatening injuries. The driver of the vehicle stayed on the scene, police said.

The intersection was expected to reopen sometime after 11 p.m., according to police.
