Pearcy man arrested and facing charges involving child pornography

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Officials with the Arkansas State Police announced Monday that a man from Pearcy has been arrested after an investigation into possession of child sexual abuse materials.

Agents with the ASP’s Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force executed a search warrant last week in the 100 block of Avalon Drive.

During the investigation, officials said they arrested 32-year-old Riley Robert Stanley.

Troopers said that after a joint undercover investigation between the ICAC’s Task Force and the Arkansas Attorney General’s office, they discovered that numerous files of child sexual abuse materials were being shared from a laptop belonging to Stanley.

Cabot man accused of assaulting officers during arrest tied to child pornography investigation

ASP officials said that Stanley was arrested Friday, March 29 and is facing charges of distributing, possessing, or viewing matter depicting sexually explicit conduct involving a child.

Stanley is being held in the Garland County Detention Center, and his bond has been set at $500,000. He is scheduled to be in court in early May.
