More sunshine and warmer temperatures this week

Patchy fog is starting to lift across our area and give way to some sunshine. There will be plenty of sunshine to come, not just Sunday, but into the week ahead too.

Grab the sunglasses for later this afternoon, as clouds and fog break, we will be treated with sunshine and warmer temperatures. By the afternoon, we will warm into the middle to upper 80s. It will be a great afternoon to spend outside. There will only be a small chance of an isolated shower over Northeast Alabama on Sunday, as the low pressure that brought us rain and storms yesterday slowly pushes off to the Carolinas.

It gets even warmer into the week ahead, with daytime highs reaching the upper 80s and low 90s! It will be humid too, with moisture returning to the area by the middle of the week. Our next rain chance looks to hold off until Thursday, so if you are looking to get some things done in the yard, now is the time to do it. Just make sure that you are staying hydrated in the warmer weather.
