Paso del Norte Community Foundation announces partnership with Amigo Airsho
EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — Paso del Norte Community Foundation (PdNCF) has announced a new partnership for El Paso Giving Day.
“Soaring to New Heights” is the PdNCF collaboration with Amigo Airsho to put together an airshow show on Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 12 and 13 at Biggs Army Airfield, according to the news release by PdNCF.
“We are thrilled to partner with Amigo Airsho for this year’s El Paso Giving Day. Together, we’re ready to take flight, raising funds and awareness for causes that truly make a difference in our community,” said PdNCF’s Vice President of Development Mica Short.
According to PdNCF, El Paso Giving Day’s ninth anniversary will be celebrated on Thursday, Oct. 17 and Early Giving will happen from Thursday, Oct. 10 through Wednesday, Oct. 16.
“Amigo Airsho is proud to support El Paso Giving Day and the vital work of the Paso del Norte Community Foundation. Our goal is to not only showcase spectacular aerial displays but also to uplift the charitable efforts that strengthen our community,” said Amigo Airsho CEO Tresa Rockwell.
In 2023, PdNCF raised over $1.3 million for more than 200 local charities during El Paso Giving Day.
“Building on this success, the philanthropic duo is setting their sights higher, with a goal of reaching $1.5 million this year,” according to the news release.
