Over 30 students report injuries after Perry County school bus accident

PENN TOWNSHIP, Pa. (WHTM) – Three dozen students were taken to an area hospital after a school bus accident in Perry County on Tuesday morning.

Pennsylvania State Police say at 7:35 a.m. on State Road a bus with Susquenita School District students was stopped to allow a vehicle to turn. While stopped, the bus was rear-ended by another school bus.

State Police say both buses were fully loaded with students and the drivers were both wearing seat belts.

Thirty-six students reported minor injuries and were taken to Holy Spirit Hospital for evaluation. no injuries were reported for either driver.
