Over 1,300 fentanyl pills seized during execution of search warrant in La Vergne

LA VERGNE, Tenn. (WKRN) – Over 1,300 fentanyl pills are off the street after detectives executed a search warrant at an apartment in La Vergne, resulting in one arrest.

La Vergne police officials said the narcotics division received a tip regarding drugs and weapons being kept at an apartment in the Summer Creek apartment complex. A search warrant was executed on Tuesday, May 21.

During the search, detectives seized two guns, 1,341 fentanyl pills, nearly $13,000, and other various drug paraphernalia, according to investigators.

Police said Andre Petway Jr. was also arrested for eight violation of probation felony warrants.

The investigation remains ongoing.
