Outagamie County crash involved two motorcycles, a semi & an SUV, one driver taken into custody

CENTER, Wis. (WFRV) – Authorities in Outagamie County say that an Appleton man was taken into custody after a crash involving four vehicles sent multiple people to hospitals.

According to the Outagamie County Sheriff’s Office, on May 1 around 11 a.m., authorities were sent to the intersection of Cty Tk S and STH 47 for a reported crash. Officials say the crash involved an SUV, two motorcycles and a semi-truck.

The initial investigation reportedly shows that the SUV was going eastbound on Cty Tk S and didn’t yield the right-of-way to the two motorcyclists and entered the intersection. The SUV was then hit by both motorcycles, which caused the SUV and one motorcycle to hit the semi-truck.
