New Orleans police investigate fatal shooting in Algiers
NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — Officers with the New Orleans Police Department are investigating a shooting that left a woman dead in Algiers on Monday, April 22.
The NOPD reported that officers responded to the 300 block of Ptolemy Street, where they found a woman who had been shot around 7:03 p.m.
Man arrested after Gretna police chase leads to crash, officer-involved shooting
She was taken to a hospital by EMS, where she later died.
The victim was later identified as 25-year-old Brittney Ussin.
