Orlando weather: Chance for severe weather returns on Tuesday across Central Florida

Large hail, similar to what was observed in Polk County on Monday afternoon, is possible. Frequent lightning and heavy downpours are all probable occurrences during these storms.
The first round is forecast for Tuesday morning through midday, followed by another round late Tuesday afternoon and evening, with a subsequent round anticipated during the middle of the day on Wednesday.
A front is poised to drive precipitation southward, leading to markedly drier and hotter conditions on Thursday and Friday, accompanied by abundant sunshine. As for the weekend, there is a modest 30-40% chance of isolated showers and thunderstorms, primarily associated with daytime heating, unlike the elevated likelihood of convection throughout Tuesday and Wednesday.
High temperatures on Tuesday are expected to break into the low to mid-90s.
