Organ and tissue donors celebrated in ceremony

People who share the gift of life are being celebrated.

Genesis Health System and the Iowa Donor Network raised a flag for people who donated organs, eyes and tissue. The ceremony was followed by a program by Genesis chaplains and a moment of silence. Organizers encourage people to check the organ donation box on their driver’s licenses or to register online.
