Oregon State Police arrest Wallowa man for DUII on I-84

UNION COUNTY — Oregon State Police arrested a Wallowa man for driving under the influence of intoxicants and reckless driving on May 16, according to the OSP media log.

Trooper Ryan Morehead responded to Interstate 84 outside of La Grande after OSP received multiple complaints of a black SUV that was being driven recklessly. Police found the SUV at the Charles Reynolds Rest Area.

The driver — Thomas Herbert Wenke, 41 — completed standardized field sobriety testing and was arrested.
