Opening dates announced for new Starbucks in Warner Robins. See where it’s at.

For those in need of more coffee options in Warner Robins, another store is opening soon: A new Starbucks is coming to the city next week.

The new standalone coffee shop will be located at 758 Highway 96, next to McAlister’s Deli and Kroger in Bonaire, according to Kate Hogan, the Warner Robins economic development director.

A soft opening for family and friends will take place from 3 to 7 p.m. on April 25 at the new location, she added. The store’s official grand opening for the public will follow April 26.

Hogan confirmed the new Starbucks shop will include a drive-thru and a covered patio.

The development was announced last year by Warner Robins Growth Facebook page, which alerts Middle Georgia residents on new businesses.

Some social media users complained that the new coffeehouse’s location was too close to the Starbucks inside of the Kroger grocery store, calling the move redundant.

Meanwhile, others praised the new company-owned location and the convenience of not having to leave their cars for a cup of Joe.
