Opelika Police say missing high school student located safe

OPELIKA, Ala. (WRBL) The Opelika Police Department is appealing to the community for assistance in locating 18-year-old Presley Shantrice Johnson, who was reported missing on Thursday May 9, 2024.

According to authorities, Johnson was last seen leaving Opelika High School at approximately 12:00 p.m. in a Black Ford Explorer. Concerns grew when her family was unable to establish contact with her and were unaware of her whereabouts or who she might have left with.

Described as a black female standing approximately 5-foot-5, Johnson has black hair and brown eyes. At the time of her disappearance, she was wearing blue jeans, a pink jacket, and white shoes.

The Opelika Police Department has urged anyone with information regarding Johnson’s location to come forward. They can be reached at (334) 705-5260. The community is urged to remain vigilant and share any relevant information that could aid in locating Presley Shantrice Johnson and ensuring her safe return home.
