May 21—A rollover collision on U.S. 41 in Farmersburg on Tuesday morning resulted in one person being taken to the hospital and one driver being ticketed, according to Indiana State Police.

About 10:40 a.m., ISP and the Sullivan County Sheriff's Department responded to a report of an accident with injuries on northbound U.S. 41 at Sawmill Road.

A 2005 Ford driven by Terry Kendall, 72, of Linton, was traveling north on U.S. 41 when a 2022 Mazda driven by a Lucas Connor, 33, of Clinton, attempted to cross the highway to head east on Sawmill Road.

Connor failed to see the northbound vehicle and pulled into traffic, resulting in a collision that caused the Ford to roll a few times before coming to stop.

Both Connor and Kendall were treated and released at the scene by medical staff. A passenger in the Ford was transported to a local hospital with a laceration to the head.

Both vehicles were towed from the scene.

Connor was cited for failure to yield the right of way.
