One person rescued from Mira Mesa house fire

SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — One person was rescued on Wednesday from a house fire in the Mira Mesa neighborhood, authorities said.

The blaze occurred around 5:15 p.m. at 10423 Greenford Drive, according to the San Diego Fire-Rescue Department.

The person rescued was taken to a hospital in unknown condition, per first responders.

Shortly before 6 p.m., firefighters extinguished the fire.

The cause of the blaze is unknown at this time.
