Woman killed in wreck involving DeKalb County school bus identified

DEKALB COUNTY, Ala. (WHNT) – One person was killed in an accident involving a DeKalb County Schools bus Thursday morning, according to the DeKalb County Emergency Management Agency.

The accident happened when a school bus and a vehicle collided on Highway 40, just east of Henagar. There were no students on the bus at the time of the accident.

The bus driver sustained minor injuries, however, the driver of the other vehicle was killed. DeKalb County Coroner Tom Wilson identified the person killed as 50-year-old Jennifer Devonne Jackson of Dalton, Georgia.
