18-year-old killed in shooting in North College Hill
An 18-year-old man was gunned down in a homicide in North College Hill overnight, according to the Hamilton County Coroner’s Office.
Multiple residents called 911 and reported hearing shots fired shortly after 9 p.m. Monday near the intersection of Simpson and Dallas avenues.
Witnesses said they heard at least 10 gunshots fired.
One person with gunshot wounds was found down on the ground and taken to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center, according to the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office and North College Hill Police.
Early Tuesday, the coroner’s office confirmed he died at the hospital.
A coroner’s report identifies him as Nikkel Drew.
The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office is assisting police as the investigation continues.
No arrests or suspects have been announced.
