One person dead, six others hurt in four-vehicle crash
BORREGO SPRINGS, Calif. (FOX 5/KUSI) — One person is dead and six others were injured Friday in a four-vehicle crash in the Borrego Springs area, first responders said.
The collision occurred around 8:47 p.m. at East Highway 78 & Borrego Springs Road, according to the California Highway Patrol traffic log.
Three motorcyclists and one vehicle were involved in the crash, Cal Fire San Diego confirmed to FOX 5/KUSI.

One person died, while another is in moderate condition and a third person suffered minor injuries, firefighters said. Four others were treated and released.
Traffic was shut down on the highway due to first responders having to land an air ambulance.
