One man dead, 13-year-old injured after fatal ATV crash Sunday night
EXCELSIOR SPRINGS, Mo. – One person has died and a teenager was injured after an ATV crash in Excelsior Springs on Sunday night.
According to a report by the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the driver, David Martin, 53, and a 13-year-old boy passenger were traveling in a field near Beaver Run Road when their Yamaha ATV overturned to avoid striking a stationary trailer.

The occupants were ejected from the vehicle and hit the trailer.
Martin arrived at Excelsior Springs Hospital with fatal injuries, and the boy was taken to Liberty Hospital with moderate injuries, according to the report.
Martin was pronounced dead at approximately 7:30 p.m. on Sunday night.
