One hospitalized from shooting in south Charlotte strip mall

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — A person has been hospitalized following a shooting at a south Charlotte strip mall.

According to Medic officials, the shooting occurred just after 10 p.m. Friday, April 19, in the 200 block of West Woodlawn Road. The area is just east of Interstate 77.

The victim was taken to Atrium Health CMC with life-threatening injuries.
