Prepping and hosting Thanksgiving dinner can be a stressful experience, especially when it comes to thinking about just what to include when you're creating the menu. Thankfully Bobby Flay is here to spread some holiday knowledge and let you know the one item that should stay far away from your Thanksgiving spread.

The celebrity chef recently caught up with Food & Wine, where he discussed hosting Thanksgiving dinner for his family and the cocktail he no longer serves. "I used to make cranberry martinis, but I don't anymore because people get f--ked up on those," the chef said. "It's basically just red vodka. It's a bad idea. By 6:30 p.m. people are like, walking into walls."

His reasoning is actually pretty understandable. Don't get me wrong - anything involving vodka sounds like a pretty good time to me, especially when you're celebrating with friends. But if there's any day of the year that comes off as being the least appropriate to get drunk, it's Thanksgiving. Can you even imagine looking around the dining room and seeing your family members being that wasted? Even worse, it might not be such a good look to be "walking into walls" in front of your mom and dad. Yeah, you might want to quit while you're ahead here.

Should there be any sort of cocktail on the menu at all, you'd probably be better off serving these Apple Pie Sparklers.
