One dead after Lauderdale County wreck

LAUDERDALE COUNTY, Ala (WHNT) — The Killen Police Department (KPD) says a woman is dead after a single-vehicle wreck.

Killen Police Chief Bryan Hammond said a 21-year-old woman was pronounced dead after a single-vehicle wreck on Brush Creek Road South of Kentwood Drive.

Lauderdale County Coroner Kim Jones says the woman was pronounced dead on the scene.

Florence Police looking for missing woman

The chief said KPD received the call regarding the wreck at 6:54 p.m. Monday.

Hammond said the woman was the only occupant of the car at the time of the wreck.

No more information is available at this time as Killen Police continue to investigate.
