One dead in early-morning crash on Columbus' Northeast Side
One person died in a crash Monday morning on Columbus’ Northeast Side.
The two-vehicle collision happened about 5:45 a.m. Monday at the intersection of Route 161 and Sharon Woods Boulevard, Columbus police said.
One person was pronounced dead at the scene. Police have not released that person’s identity and details about how the crash occurred were not yet available.
Route 161 was closed after the collision but reopened later Monday morning.
