One Class at a Time: Angie Landon

This week’s One Class At A Time Winner is an amazing computer science teacher.

Angie Landon teaches computer science for grades 9th to 12th at Kendrick High School, and she has been teaching for 6 years. Her nominator referred to her as “hardworking and dedicated to assisting her students.”

She is also over the school’s Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) club. Mrs. Landon plans on using this grant money to buy more supplies for her classroom and FBLA.

“It means I can do more things for my kids in this classroom,” said Landon. “And I’m excited. The children and the people that I work with, mentoring some of my staff members that need help because when I first started, I felt like I was alone. So, I don’t ever want anybody to feel alone.”

Mrs. Landon won a $300 grant from Five Star Painting.
