Ocean Springs woman arrested on drug charges: Jackson County Sheriff’s Office

OCEAN SPRINGS, Miss. (WKRG) — An Ocean Springs woman was arrested Friday afternoon on drug charges, according to the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office.

60-year-old Pamela Marie Blackman was arrested after South Mississippi Metro Enforcement Team agents executed a search warrant on her home in the Gulf Park Estates community, according to a JCSO news release.

While searching the home, agents allegedly found 3 ounces of methamphetamine, two pistols, and a rifle.

The release said Blackman is charged with transfer of a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute.

Blackman is in the Jackson County Adult Detention Center on a $400,000 bond.
