OB/GYN physician joins Conemaugh Physician Group
Swathi Malepati, doctor of osteopathic medicine, has joined Conemaugh Physician Group – Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Malepati earned her medical degree from West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine, and completed her obstetrician gynecologist residency at St. Joseph Mercy Oakland in Pontiac, Michigan.
Malepati had worked as a reproductive health extern at Bellevue Hospital in New York City, and as a research assistant to Dr. Arun Jeyabalan, of Magee Womens Hospital in Pittsburgh.
Most recently, she participated in the Big Brothers Big Sisters mentorship program of western Pennsylvania, and in the health outreach programs in the United States, Mexico and India.
