Oakland Drive homicide victim identified, suspect arrested: Mobile Police

MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — A man was arrested after another man was shot and killed Tuesday, according to a news release from the Mobile Police Department.

Joe Exotic, aka the ‘Tiger King,’ back in Santa Rosa County Jail

18-year-old Jeremy Omar Thigpen Jr., of Mobile, was arrested in connection to the murder of 20-year-old Faisal Alraken Tuesday night, according to the release.

Officers were called to the 1000 block of Oakland Drive around 9:30 p.m. Tuesday for a report of a shooting.

When they arrived, officers located a man, now identified as Alraken, who had been shot multiple times, according to the release.

Alraken was taken to a local hospital where he died from his injuries.

Thigpen was arrested Wednesday. He was charged with felony murder and distribution of marijuana.
