NPS: Bridge to Thompson’s Boat Center in Georgetown closed

WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — The National Park Service (NPS) closed a bridge in Georgetown on Thursday for an indefinite amount of time.

The bridge between the parking lot and Thompson’s Boat Center is closed to all cars and pedestrians due to the pavement buckling, Rock Creek Park NPS said in a post on X.

Pedestrians can still access the Boat Center through 30th Street NW.
