NPD: Minor hit by car on Tidewater Drive

NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — A minor was hit by a car Tuesday morning, according to Norfolk police.

It happened around 9:20 a.m. on the 2500 block of Tidewater Drive. That’s near Lindenwood Avenue. Police said the minor was trying to cross the street when they were hit by the car.

The minor was taken to the hospital and is expected to be okay. Police said the driver remained on the scene.
