‘We will not stop looking for him’: Ethan Fussell’s family speaks out 2 weeks after his disappearance

LAKELAND, Fla. (WFLA) —”The best way I can describe him is like a free spirit,” said Kailey Jackson, Ethan Fussell’s sister.

A few weeks ago, Fussell reached out to her. He wanted to see her on her birthday.

“He bought new clothes because he wanted to look nice for my dinner. He was very loving and caring that night and he seemed happy like everything was fine,” said Jackson.

The date was May 7. The 21-year-old went missing later that night.

“I don’t know what’s going to happen at the end of all this, but I will remember that night and cherish it for as long as I live,” said Jackson.

Search on for men seen with 21-year-old before he vanished in Lakeland

Fussell’s disappearance is under investigation by the Polk County Sheriff’s Office.

He was last seen at a mobile home on Driggers Road in Lakeland.

“This particular location has been known, according to some of the neighbors, for a lot of traffic in and out, maybe drug sales or drug usage,” said Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd.

Fussell is 5 feet 7 inches tall, approximately 150 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.

Sheriff Judd said Fussell was seen at the Driggers Road property having an argument with someone.

The Polk County Sheriff’s Office is now looking for two men, Talon Page, 25, and Adonai Moran Rivera, 21.

Sheriff Judd referred to them as “persons of interest” in Fussell’s disappearance and said there are warrants out for their arrests.

He is not publicizing the charges.

“We know that they will watch social media or watch your television broadcast and we don’t want them to know what the warrants are for yet. But if they’ll show up, we’ll tell them,” said Sheriff Judd.

Fussell’s mother, Lisa, said her family is offering a $10,000 reward for the first person with information that leads to Ethan’s location.

“I think that they thought he didn’t have family who cared about him. He has a family who loves him and we will not stop looking for him. I want them to know that he was loved and we will get to the bottom of what’s going on and I know they know something,” she said.

Reward money is also available through Heartland Crime Stoppers. Those with information can call 1-888-400-TIPS.
