ROANOKE, COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) – VDOT reports the northbound lane has been reopened after a crash on I-81 in Roanoke County.

One airlifted to hospital after SUV crashed into embankment in Carroll County

All traffic is now moving normally.

ROANOKE, COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) – The Virginia Department of Transportation reports there is currently a motor vehicle accident near mile marker 139 on Interstate 81 North in Roanoke County.

Traffic is currently backed up around 7 miles and the left northbound lane is closed. Drivers can expect delays until further notice.
