Norfolk International Airport recognized for customer service

NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — Norfolk International Airport soars above and beyond in customer service according to a London-based firm that rates airlines and airports.

Skytrax listed Norfolk International Airport as one of only seven U.S. airports to achieve its prestigious 4-star rating for excellence in customer service.

The firm acknowledged the airport’s efficiency, local artwork, landscaping, and seating space in the main lobby.

Additionally it noted the airport’s potential to achieve the 5-Star Regional Airport Rating in the future — a designation that, so far, only three U.S. airports have received.

Iconiq raises $5.15B toward seventh flagship fund
Iconiq Capital has raised $5.15 billion across two funds associated with the seventh growth fund family, according to SEC filings. The firm, which launched in 2011 as a private office managing capital of some of the most prominent and wealthiest people in tech, including Mark Zuckerberg and Jack Dorsey, originally targeted $5.75 billion, according to meeting information from New Mexico State Investment Council, The Wall Street Journal reported in March 2022. The fund size is a substantial increase from Iconiq’s Fund VI target of $3.75 billion.
