No injuries reported in Williamsburg Lane house fire Thursday morning

LANCASTER − City firefighters responded to a house fire at 311 Williamsburg Lane around 7:40 a.m. Thursday.

Assistant fire chief Slade Schultz said there were no injuries reported and that the family living at the house was not home. He said firefighters quickly contained the fire.

Fire officials contacted the Red Cross and Charity Newsies to assist the family, which consists of one adult and two children.

Williamsburg Lane is off Ohio 22 in Hunter Trace.

The fire is under investigation.
