When you think of Nicole Kidman, the chances are a glossy blonde blow-dry and glowy, dewy skin come to mind.
Which is why you'll likely do a double take when you see the actress's dramatic transformation for her latest film, Destroyer, which sees her play an undercover police detective.
OMG. The hair? The cheekbones? THE NOSE? Unrecognisable.
Kidman was filming scenes in Los Angeles yesterday [December 11], and was pictured with a short, choppy brunette bob wearing a black t-shirt, jeans and leather overcoat.
The actress's costume makeup is a far cry from her usual glamorous appearance, making her look dishevelled, tired and gaunt. Needless to say, people on Twitter are flabberghasted by the transformation.
One person wrote, "Wake up! I need to talk to everyone about Nicole Kidman's wig in DESTROYER.", while another added, "Nicole Kidman is virtually unrecognizable in that wig."
Destroyer tells the story of a police detective who starts working with people from her distant past in order to carry out an undercover assignment.
Nicole isn't the first actress to go under a dramatic transformation for a role recently - fans were shocked by Margot Robbie's costume for Queen Elizabeth I, and obsessing over James McAvoy beefing up for his new role.
